BANG.
Li shoves the boy aside to find the girl sprawled on the floor.
"Fainted," the boy said.
"Fainted? Don't just stand there! Call—"
"Already did."
Grabbing the arrogant youth by the collar once more, Li yelled, "That's all you have to say? Your friend JUST GOT SHOT! How can you be so indifferent?"
The youth scoffed, "Indifferent?
"Regain your composure, woman. She's stronger than you think.
"Stronger than you."
The boy's steady glare left Li speechless. His clenched fist quivered slightly, but his gray eyes were impenetrable.
My attempt at a mystery... uh. thing.
Reused some characters, created new ones.
Here's a thing that I made for L.A. Noir that made me sort of want to continue the story...
